Brighton Hall Rocks Out with School of Rock!
Calling all cinephiles! Every few months, Brighton Hall transforms its cafeteria into a cozy movie theater, offering students a chance to unwind and bond over a shared love of classic films. This past Friday night, the school rocked out with a screening of the hilarious "School of Rock," starring the one and only Jack Black!
The cafeteria buzzed with excitement as students settled in for the movie. A mountain of popcorn awaited eager hands, along with piping hot pizza and ice cream that completed the perfect movie night spread. Laughter filled the air as Jack Black's iconic performance unfolded on the big screen, reminding everyone why "School of Rock" remains a beloved comedy.
Brighton Hall fosters a unique and supportive environment, and these movie nights perfectly capture that spirit. Students from all walks of life come together, united by their love for film and the chance to simply relax and have fun with their peers. This sense of community is especially important for our students who lead busy lives – many of whom are child actors or professional athletes – as Brighton Hall's flexible schedule allows them to excel in their pursuits while receiving a top-notch academic education.
Speaking of rocking out, we have a fun fact! Last year, Jack Black himself donated a truly unforgettable experience to our annual Spring Benefit. One lucky student won a chance to have lunch with the comedic legend, proving that Brighton Hall's connections extend far and wide!
Proceeds from movie night go directly to the Student Council, which uses the funds to support a variety of initiatives throughout the year. So, not only is movie night a blast, but it also helps make Brighton Hall an even more vibrant place to learn and grow.
