California requires all students in all schools, public or private, to be immunized according to California state standards, as listed here.
Some children are exempt from immunizations, per the California Department of Public Health guidelines. Brighton Hall will require a letter from your student’s pediatrician explaining the reason an exemption is prescribed and the dates the exemption is valid.
You may ask your student’s former school to email transcripts to: admin@brightonhallschool.org or you may bring them in to the office in a sealed envelope.
We ask that all applying students provide a letter of recommendation from their current school. This letter can be written by a faculty member, school director or school counselor. The letter should address the student’s academic achievements, personal skills and accomplishments, how long the writer has known the student and in what capacity.
Students in Elementary classes are given an assessment test at the beginning of each school year to help teachers develop individual educational goals for each student.
If there is a question as to class placement of a student for any grade, Brighton Hall will issue an assessment test to the student before determining which grade in which he/she will be enrolled.
Brighton Hall requires students to wear uniform shirts and outerwear, available for purchase in the office.
Styles and prices can be found here.
